Wednesday Night Children's Ministry

Sadly I didn't get any pictures tonight, but we had a good time as we continued on our journey through the book of Genesis. We played the fall of man blame game. We were in chapter 2 as we talked about the story of Adam and Eve and the tree of good and evil, temptation, and the fall of mankind. We watched this video that helped it bring it to life: https://youtu.be/ccJPHyZJg2o (feel free to watch with your kiddos again to talk about what they learned) We understood that there are actions to our consequences but despite making bad decisions God still loves us and He knows what is best for us and we discussed the importance of obeying God. I look forward to seeing all the kiddos tonight! Tonight we will begin our journey through the book of Genesis. We will watch this video https://youtu.be/qJlEdVezmfY and do a fun activity/game to help them in reviewing and remembering the lesson we will be doing. Though Genesis may seem to be simple and is known as bible basics I believe there are deeper lessons to be learned within it's chapters. I am excited for us to dig deeper within it's pages on their level for understanding and have fun doing it. Parents/Grandparents don't forget we are taking up offering that will go to O.C.C and it's boys vs girls. Boys are currently in the lead by 7 whole dollars. Wednesdaynight recap: We had a wonderful time tonight in class. Mrs. Becky Lawley was our teachers aide tonight and she brought us some yummy cupcakes and pizza to help us celebrate the birthday boy today Mr. Blayne Lawley turned the big 10. And so we all got to sing happy Birthday to him. We played an icebreaker game to help everyone get to know each other a little better and we got to go over a few things. And they were excited to find out that whoever brings the most offering between the boys and girls by the end of November for Operation Christmas Child gets to pie me in the face. So much so the boys are already in the lead by 7 whole dollars 😂 then we closed the night out with our prayer circle where we took turns having them in the circle and we all layed…
