When Jesus called His disciples, He didn't wait until they had it all together. On the contrary. It's obvious the only way to get it together, so to speak, was in walking with Him. His influence as the Resurrection and the Life, God become flesh, was the key to transforming each of their lives. A wise man said the reason Judas betrayed Jesus was the fact that he was probably the first one to realize Jesus the Messiah was not there to overthrow Roman rule and restore rule to the Jews. He was there to reveal the Father, His words, His will for their lives. Revealing the Father's love all the way to the cross and the resurrection! Anything we pursue outside of the Father's will is inferior to what His plans are for us! It was in their following Christ they found themselves being changed. When the woman came to Simon the lepor's house and poured the expensive oil from her alabaster box on Jesus, which by today's standard might be equal to $50,000.00, it drew criticism and Judas led the charge. "Why this waste! This could have been sold and given to the poor. Not that he cared for the poor but because he was a thief and was skimming from the money bag."
This mindset will always criticize extravagant worship! Worship Him anyway!
Don't wait until you feel qualified to do what you feel called to do. Just do it! He will transform you as you walk with Him in newness of life. Resurrection life! You are His passion! He longs for you to take a walk with Him. He will show you who you were created to be! Don't wait! Take that walk and watch as He works in you while He works through you!
Great message
