First of all, as the sitting Teacher, I should. Beyond that, Sunday School itself presents an opportunity for dialogue. We all participate. Our literature is the Bible. Some people are more open than others and that is OKAY. I do not enjoy Sunday School just because I am the teacher. When Jessie and I came to Bethel, we attended this class. Sat under two other teachers supporting both. We enjoyed those classes.
Our goal is to glean the most from the subject at hand. In so doing, we spend more time per subject than you typically get with most prepared literature.
Currently we are studying the book of Genesis, The Book of Beginnings. There is way more to this book than most people even think about. We started at Genesis 1:1 and will be starting Genesis 22 Sunday morning. This chapter covers the ultimate test of anyones faith.
We meet in the Youth Room each Sunday morning at 9:30am. If you are a little late , just come on in. You are very welcome. See you Sunday and have a blessed day.
This morning we started Genesis chapter 24. Isaac gets a wife. This is a long chapter packed with information relating to the relationship Father God desires to have with us. Including circumcision, and how this relates to our Christian walk.
